ABOUT STAINFORTH
Welcome to the Parish of Stainforth in North Yorkshire, situated within the heart of Ribblesdale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The area is frequently visited by walkers, cyclists, and cavers, it is an area of beauty for both the residents of the Parish and those who seek to visit.
Stainforth has a pub (Craven Heifer, for food, drink, & accommodation) a village hall, a church (St Peters) and a range of accommodation to cater for it's many visitors.
Yorkshire Dales National Park provide a large car park including toilet facilities within the village.
At Little Stainforth across the River Ribble there is a campsite (Knight Stainforth) & Cafe/restaurant (Knights Table).
Many walks can be found around the parish where visitors can enjoy the natural beauty of this part of Ribblesdale, including the waterfalls of Catrigg Force & Stainforth Foss.
